Transformation - Restoration - Worship
TRANSFORMATION
Brokenness, shattered, torn, depressed, just a few of the words that may come to mind when you take a look at the world around you or maybe even your own life.
Sometimes it's caused by decisions beyond our control, other times, we can see these are consequences of our own choices. The word of God declares that ultimately, these are the resulting conditions of sin. So what is the answer? When we discover these conditions are present in our life it's time for a transformation.
"And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins; Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world...."
Ephesians 2:1-2 (KJV)
RESTORATION
Chaos, disorder, confusion, anxiety, fear, there are moments in life that bring these feelings. Moments when it feels like everything is spiraling out of control.
Moments when it feels like there's no way out, and no way to fix what's out of order, in ourselves, or in the world around us. Yet the word of God says that these are conditions that can be changed and corrected in our own lives. When we find these things present, we need a restoration, a restoration back to the way that God first intended our lives to be.
"...we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others. (4) But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, (5) Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)"
Ephesians 2:3-5 (KJV)
